How Billionaires Gold Holdings collects, uses and protects your personal information when you browse our website, buy bullion bars, store metal in your vault or sell it back to us.

Billionaires Gold Holdings (“we”, “us”) runs billionairesgoldholdings.com, where we sell certified gold and silver bullion bars, store metal for customers in a personal vault and buy metal back. We are based in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, and we are responsible for the personal information described in this policy.
This policy covers our website, your customer account and My Vault, and any contact you have with us by email, phone or WhatsApp.

We only ask for the information we need to provide our service:

Account and contact details: your name, email address, phone number and billing and delivery addresses.
•
Orders and vault records: the bars you buy, the amounts you pay, the grams of gold and silver held in your vault, and your sale, delivery and shipping requests.
•
Payout details: when you sell to us, the bank, mobile money or PayPal details you give us to receive your payment.
•
Identity documents: your name as shown on your ID, the type of ID and a copy of the document, which we need before your first sale.
•
Messages: anything you send us through our contact form, by email, phone or WhatsApp.
•
Technical information: your IP address, browser and device type, and the cookies needed to run the site.
We do not collect or store payment card numbers on our website.

We never sell your personal information. We only send you marketing messages if you have agreed to receive them, and you can opt out at any time.

We handle your information in line with Tanzania’s Personal Data Protection Act, 2022. Depending on the purpose, we rely on the need to carry out our contract with you, our legal obligations, our legitimate interest in running a safe and efficient business, or your consent.

We share information only when it is needed:

Delivery partners: your name, phone number and address, to deliver bars you ask us to ship.
•
Banks, mobile money operators and PayPal: to send your payment when you sell metal to us.
•
Service providers: such as our website hosting and email providers, who process information on our behalf and only as we instruct.
•
Advisers and authorities: our auditors and professional advisers, and regulators, tax or law enforcement authorities where the law requires it.
Live gold and silver prices come from external market data services. No personal information is sent to them.

ID documents are stored in a private folder on our server that cannot be opened from the public internet. Only authorised staff can view them, through our secure admin system, and we use them only to verify your identity and meet our legal obligations.

We use essential cookies that keep you signed in, remember your cart and make checkout work. Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which means Google receives your IP address. If you use our WhatsApp chat button, WhatsApp’s own privacy policy applies. If we add analytics or marketing cookies in future, we will update this policy first.

We keep your account, order and vault records while you have an account with us, and afterwards for as long as tax, accounting and anti-money-laundering laws require. Copies of ID documents are deleted once we no longer need them for these purposes. Messages are kept for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry.

Our website uses an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. Passwords are stored in encrypted form, staff access is limited to what each role needs, and ID documents are held in restricted storage. No system is completely secure, so please keep your password private and tell us straight away if you think someone has accessed your account.

Some of our service providers may store or process information outside Tanzania. When this happens, we take steps to make sure your information stays protected to the standard required by Tanzanian law.

Stop or limit how we use it, or withdraw consent you have given.
